Are you a Network Administrator/engineer, webmaster or  systems administrator supporting the ICT infrastructure within your institution?

Following your nomination to attend the ICANN Grant Funded Cybersecurity training, KENET is pleased to invite you to register for the Nairobi region, cohort 1 in either of the Tracks (Track 1:Securing institutional e-mail, websites and identity systems and Track 2: Securing campus networks and IT assets.)

This training workshop aims to impart skills in the subject areas that will enhance and strengthen the cybersecurity posture of the member institutions.

After this training the participants should be able to effectively manage their institutional domains, email records and security as well as securing their campus network infrastructures. campus networks.

Following the successful completion of the 5-day training, participants shall be awarded a certificate of completion

Venue : Best Western Plus Meridian , Nairobi

 

Note: Kindly be advised that you can only select one of the tracks as per your nomination based on your job description. Each institution has two slots, one for each track. This is in-line with the Training of Trainers (ToT) model where we aim to build a pool of competent trainers who will then train other people in their respective institutions.

Please note the actual training workshop is FREE including daytime meals; however, the institutions shall be required to pay for any transport or accommodation and/or per diem as applicable.
