KENET is eager to build your capacity,and enrich your work experience as you support the ICT operations in your institutions.

The Fundamentals of Unix and Linux System Administration course is designed to cover all aspects on Linux/Unix System administration from introduction to the Linux system administration, familiarizing with the Unix and Linux shell scripts, various flavours of operating systems, command line tools, user management etc. The focus of this course is to cover everything that is required to become a great systems administrator and includes topics which are important not only from a theoretical perspective but also have a tremendous practical utility.

Following the successful completion of the 5-day training, participants shall be awarded a certificate of completion

Note: Kindly be advised that there is only one (1) training slot available per institution and on a first-come basis. This is in-line with the Training of Trainers (ToT) model where we aim to build a pool of competent trainers who will then train other people in their respective institutions.
