The KENET Special Interest Group (SIG) on Earth Observation Applications is a community of researchers, faculty, and doctoral students focused on advancing Earth Observation (EO) technologies and applications. This group aims to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and support in areas such as remote sensing, geospatial analysis, climate monitoring, and related research fields. SIG members will have the opportunity to engage with peers across various institutions, and participate in workshops and collaborative projects that enhance their EO research.
We are collecting this data to support the formation of Earth Observation (EO) Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and connect researchers and faculty working in this field. By understanding researcher backgrounds, research activity, and access to resources, we hope to create a strong, collaborative network that fosters knowledge-sharing and innovation to advance EO research in Kenya and beyond.
All registrants will be added to the Earth Observation (EO) Special Interest Group (SIG) mailing list, which will serve as a key communication channel for sharing updates, opportunities, and resources related to the SIG and other KENET research services.
